Your first objective is to design a mock crime with excellent clues that will successfully aid students to identify the motive.
Next, determine how you will present the evidence at the crime scene in a well displayed, clear and easily visible manner.
The third part of the assignment is the illustration and preparation of five different forensic techniques with their experimental results. Here is where you can try and demonstrate a fantastic, exciting motive that will lead your classmates as they try to solve the crime!
The forth part is for you to write a newspaper article that states the facts of the case just after the crime was committed. This will provide your classmates with background information such as the suspects of the case and other basic facts determined by the police investigators. Remember, the article must be impartial and unbiased in its reporting!
The fifth and final piece for the assignment is the PowerPoint presentation that discusses the value of evidence and how it relates to the case displaying critical thought and understanding of forensics in the case. There is a tremendous amount of work that must be completed so each group must divide the parts so that all team members participate!
